Batdongsan.com.vn releases data noting 20-40% differences between asking prices of apartments in both central and non-central districts of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
In August 2019, demand of Batdongsan.com.vn’s users for most types of real estate for sale and rent increased. Only demand for rental apartments saw a decline after its sharp increase in the previous month.
In Q1 2019, Hanoi maintained its strong growth momentum in the apartment segment. Meanwhile, although Ho Chi Minh City witnessed the largest drop in new launch level over the course of three years, CBRE expected it to improve in the second half of the year.
The first quarter of the year saw a fall in both supplies and sales of apartments in HCMC, at 57% and 52%, respectively, over the same period last year, a report by property service provider Savills said, ascribing the decline to the long Tet holiday in February.
New supply up 120% in fourth quarter, according to latest Savills report.
