Specifically, Khanh Hoa People's Committee decided to terminate the Document No. 4391 issued on May 9, 2018 on strengthening land management in Van Ninh district.
Basis for Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to make the above decision is the report and proposal of the Department of Justice in Document No. 1572 issued on June 10 and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in the document 2460 issued on June 12.
The Van Ninh District People's Committee and Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board are assigned to settle land records in the district according to the legal procedures. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is responsible to chair and coordinate with the Department of Justice to study and advise the Provincial People's Committee to terminate the Document No. 4391’s validity.
Earlier, on May 9, 2018, Document No. 4391 was issued by Khanh Hoa authority to direct the strengthening of land management in Van Ninh district. This document was an effort of local authority to control the so-called land fever in Van Ninh district. At that time, land prices in the area were pushed up many times. Since the Document No. 4391 took effect, land transactions in Van Ninh district as well as Bac Van Phong economic zone have been almost "frozen".
