Best Western, one of the leading brands in hotel management from the US, recently signed a memorandum with Vietnamese developer the Vindeb JSC on management and operations of the Luxury Condotel Ha My Beach in central Quang Nam province.

The Luxury Condotel Ha My Beach will comprise of a four- and a five-star condotel project on a total area of 4,000 square meters, including some 500 apartments, within Ha My Beach at Dien Duong ward, Dien Ban town. This project will be a landmark of the town and will be a modern, safe, and beautiful living space for local and other residents.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Cyrill Czerwonka, Southeast Asia Development Manager at Best Western, said the company carefully researched Vietnam and projects in nearby Da Nang and Hoi An. Foreign visitors to Vietnam are mainly middle-income and the project is expected to be a success with its two components: a midscale hotel with all the expected facilities, and, on top of it, an upscale hotel commanding higher rates with stunning views and higher service level. Hence, the company targets condotel projects that meet visitors’ demand for home-like stays while travelling.

On the developer side, Can Xuan Trang, director of Vindeb, said, “Danang and Hoi An are well-known as growing resort destinations, so it is opportunistic to invest in hotels in the surrounding area.”

“Ha My Beach is not yet as crowded as the beaches in Danang. It is peaceful and new to the public, offering more privacy, while still being close to Danang and Hoi An, which are well-established destinations in Vietnam. In 2017, the UK newspaper Telegraph ranked Ha My as one of the top ten beaches in Asia,” Trang said. “Located in a wild and amazingly beautiful beach, this condotel project is like a fresh and mild breeze. It is modern and friendly".

He also expressed his appreciation of the support provided by local governments and agencies in Quang Nam and expects to continue receiving more assistance for early completion and opening, to create a landmark site in the area.

Best Western Hotels & Resorts is one of the biggest hotel groups in the world, with more than 4,500 hotels in over 100 countries, of which 2,200 are in the US.

In Vietnam, it has been expanding dynamically with Best Western Premier Hotel Sonasea Phu Quoc already opened, and more and more projects are scheduled for opening, in Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Cam Ranh and Nha Trang, among others.

According to analysts, the interest shown by Best Western in Luxury Condotel Ha My Beach signals the potential of the luxury condotel market in Vietnam. With its prestige and more than 70 years of experience in hotel management, Best Western supports project developers and investors to become profitable.
