BRG rolls out Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi project

On May 19, leading privately-held multi-sector conglomerate BRG announced the implementation of its Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi project.

The project named Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi by BRG, will not only be the first indoor entertainment park under an international brand in Vietnam but will also be the first Sanrio amusement complex in Southeast Asia.

Located at 151-153 Yen Phu Street (Hanoi), right next to the windy West Lake, Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi will cover an area of ​​nearly 30,000 square metres, to be invested and developed by BRG Group in co-operation with Sanrio, the Japanese company that owns the Hello Kitty brand.

Hello Kitty – a popular kawaii character from Japan – first appeared in 1974 and has won the hearts of millions of fans of all ages and is now on all kinds of products such as utensils, stationery, fashion accessories, and mobile phones.

Besides Hello Kitty, the brand also has a line-up of lovely characters such as My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Bad Badtz-Maru, Kerokerokeroppi, Gudetama which are expected to appear in Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi by BRG park as well.

With the sheer area and the number of exciting rides and attractions, Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi will be a colourful world of joy, stimulating the imagination of little friends.

Japan, Singapore, Thailand or Hong Kong, they all have incredibly attractive entertainment parks for children and tourists – why shouldn’t we have one?”With the sheer area and the number of exciting rides and attractions, Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi will be a colourful world of joy, stimulating the imagination of little friends.

Besides meeting beloved cartoon characters at Sanrio Hello Kitty World Hanoi, children and visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy high-quality products and entertainment services from BRG Group under Sanrio's international standards.

The park’s comprehensive development includes amusement rides, attractions, parade, theatre show, F&B, retail, and more.

In each area, there are countless exciting games waiting for children and tourists to explore and experience, such as sailing on the River of Friendship, flying on the Hello Kitty airship (the first Hello Kitty balloon ride in the world), taking the Rollercoaster around the Dream, or visiting the amazing Monkichi Forest.

Art-loving children can visit the royal theatre to watch fascinating drama shows with characters straight out of the fairy world.

Children who like to explore and learn will surely be extremely excited to enrol at the Hello Kitty academy to become a "little chef" and knead dough for making cakes.

Moreover, in the international-standard entertainment complex, the investor also plans to open a Kerokero coffee shop, yummy food court, Kitty guest house, and souvenir zone with Sanrio's characters – where tourists, parents, and children can stop and take a rest on every journey of discovery.

The project, once put into use in 2021, is expected to attract one million visitors per year.

The Sanrio worldwide lifestyle brand is now present in more than 130 countries with Sanrio-branded items, particularly more than 50,000 Hello Kitty items alone, being sold each year.
