The delegation included Truong Quang Nghia, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary cum Head of the municipal National Assembly Members’ Group; Huynh Duc Tho, municipal People’s Committee Chairman; and Nguyen Nho Trung, People’s Council Chairman, and leaders of municipal departments and agencies. Notable projects in their visit were the $170-million Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing factory, developed by the Universal Alloy Corporation-UAC at the Hi-tech Park; headquarters of the Authority of Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks; and the Long Hau JSC-developed hi-tech factory cluster.
During his visits, Mr Nghia highly appreciated great efforts of construction units in expediting the construction progress in a quick time. The leader also highlighted the importance of these projects in promoting the city’s industrial production activities, with a focus on hi-tech industries, thereby boosting development of supporting industries.
Nearly 50% of the construction work of the Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing factory has been completed so far. The project is scheduled to be put into operation in late November.
Besides, basic construction of the headquarters of the Authority of Da Nang's Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks has been completed. As planned, the work would be completed before 29 March 2020.
However, due to problems relating to the application of new land prices, work has yet to officially start at the Long Hau JSC’s hi-tech factory cluster for rent.
Talking with the Authority of Da Nang's Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks, Mr Nghia underlined the important role of the Hi-tech Park in boosting the socio-economic development of Da Nang.
