Overview of Vietnam urban development in recent years, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh said that the Government and Ministry of Construction of Vietnam are very interested in building and developing smart cities. In 2020, as the Chairman of ASEAN Smart City Network, Vietnam is actively developing plans for programs and activities next year. It hopes that in the coming time, Vietnam will receive the Japanese assistance and efficiency in developing smart cities, including the development and improvement of policy institutions, especially the system of standards and regulations related to smart cities.
