After taking over the Hoi An Historic Hotel, the leading Spanish hospitality group Meliá Hotels International will completely rebrand the hotel as Meliá Hoi An by 2021 and cater to both leisure and business travelers.
Ideally situated in the middle of Hoi An ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, the hotel is infused with colonial architectural elements.
The property provides convenient access from Da Nang International Airport, just a 45-minute drive away. As the largest city in central Vietnam, Da Nang serves as an important transportation hub in the area, offering accessibility to Hoi An as a perfect gateway to explore Vietnam’s traditional and modern culture.
“We’ve been strongly focused on strengthening our portfolio across Vietnam, and with Meliá Hoi An as our latest extension, Meliá Hotels International has a total of 12 hotels in operation or under development in the region,” said Mr. Bernardo Cabot Estarellas, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific of Meliá Hotels International. “The group is committed to ensuring sustainable growth here, and will continue bringing warm Spanish hospitality to Asia-Pacific, offering international travelers an exquisite experience.”
Surrounded by a collection of boutique shops, art and handicraft galleries, and vibrant restaurants and cafés that pervade a strong Vietnamese vibe, the city illustrates dynamic streets embellished with historical buildings and vivid colors, along with well-known attractions such as the pure-sanded Cua Dai Beach and Fujian Assembly Hall. The hotel offers a total of 150 rooms with six different room options, all of which are designed in an elegant décor with a touch of classic hardwood furnishings.
The hotel will also offer distinguished guests warm Spanish hospitality and an ultimate relaxing experience through its exceptional facilities and services. The hotel’s restaurants are all situated in beautiful lush gardens with oak trees, providing fresh shadows and a tranquil atmosphere. In the future, guest’s 360-degree wellbeing will be highlighted by Meliá Hotels & Resorts, where the property will provide an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a signature spa service, multiple dining options, a kids’ club, refined meeting and banquet facilities, and a business center.
“We have a strong commitment to contributing to tourism development in Quang Nam province as well as in Vietnam,” said Mr. Le Tien Dung, General Director of the Hoi An Tourist Holding Company. “Together with Meliá Hotels International, we are thrilled to further promote the rich heritage of Hoi An to global travelers.”
As one of the key markets of Meliá Hotels International, the group continues its strong commitment to Vietnam. The country has become one of the most popular travel destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.
