The project is underway on Tran Quoc Toan Street which connects Can Tho Museum to Ninh Kieu Wharf.
Rubbish piles on Tran Quoc Toan Street have been cleared by local residents and volunteers. The street has turned into a giant picture of Can Tho’s beauty.
Anh Tuan who was born in Can Tho but has been living in Australia when he was small said that he was really impressed by the paintings, particularly those about the pedicabs which reminded him his childhood memories.
Vien Tuan Thanh, director of Can Tho Student Supporting Centre which carries out the project, said that the project is aimed to convey the message of environmental protection and promote Can Tho’s beauty to visitors.
The work is scheduled for completion before the Lunar New Year or Tet.
