Friendship Tower, a Grade A building in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, has officially topped out and handover is expected in the first quarter of next year.
“Our hard work and effort have seen construction progress on track for handover in the first quarter, offering tenants a flexible and modern working environment in a prestigious District 1 location,” said Mr. Nguyen Trong Mai Lam, General Director of CZ Slovakia Vietnam. “The on-time topping out is another milestone underlining our commitment to delivering a high-quality office building.”
Located on Le Duan Boulevard, one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most famous and prestigious thoroughfares, and with construction by Coteccons, Friendship Tower has been structurally complete for nine months and meets all safety and quality requirements.
According to a recent report from Savills Vietnam, the occupation rate for high-end office space in Ho Chi Minh City is currently 98 per cent, with the slim margin of available space expected to only further decline in coming months. Easing matters somewhat is Friendship Tower, with 13,700 sq m of leasable office space.
The building has already attracted the attention of numerous local and international tenants, such as The Executive Centre, the world-class flexible workspace provider, with 1,442 sq m leased across different levels.
“Unlike other recent projects in Ho Chi Minh City that have not been able to commit to their initial delivery time, Friendship Tower is making great strides towards completion,” said Ms. Tu Thi Hong An, Associate Director, Head of Commercial Leasing at Savills Vietnam. “Savills and the building’s future tenants are all delighted with Friendship Tower’s progress.”
Receiving the Best Office Architecture Vietnam for 2019 award at the Asia Pacific Property Awards and with LEED Gold Certificate (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) expected, Friendship Tower is an ideal destination for dynamic local and international companies.
