Mr. To Van Hung, Head of Da Nang Department of Natural Resources and Environment said, the city authority is trying to handle violations according to inspection’s conclusions as soon as possible to stabilize the local real estate market. He said: "City leaders asked the department to review all land projects. We reviwed all projects, synthesized information and divided into 10 groups of issues to be solved".
The official also added that the department will try to complete the land database and synchronize this database from commune and district to city levels during this year, in order to promote administrative reform.
In recent time, Da Nang has focused on solving and dealing with the consequences of existing problems according to the conclusions of the Government Inspectorate on land violations in the city. This has partly affected the sentiment and business environment of businesses.
To solve the issues related to lack of land for production and business, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has been assigned the task of selecting 500 specific land lots and publicly inform enterprices details such as location, area, purpose of land use, etc. Enterprises will be allowed to participate in auctions of land use rights in an open and transparent way.
