Ba Ria-Vung Tau: Another 6 land plots was added to the 2019 auction plan

According to the Department of Natural Resource and Environment of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, the Provincial People Committee has issued the Decision 2560/QĐ-UBND to adjust the list of land plots to auction in 2018.

Specifically, Ba Ria-Vung Tau will hold an auction for 10 land plots with a total area of 37.48ha, expected to collect 195.35 billion VND in 2018, which is down seven plots in comparison with the PPC’s approval in April 4 2018.

There are six additional land plots on the auction plan in 2019, including four ones in Vung Tau City and two others in the Dat Do district. The plot in Phuoc Trung ward, Ba Ria won’t be auctioned as it will be transferred to the People's Committee of Ba Ria for resettlement.

Up until now, there is only one successful auction which is the land plot in Ward 5, Vung Tau City with an area of 467m2 sold for 9.5 billion VND . The Department of Natural Resource and Environment is processing the land use rights certificate for the winner.

Besides, the PPC of Ba Ria-Vung Tau also approved the auction plan for the six land plots with a total area of 27.3ha planning to be held at the end of October 2018. At the same time, The Department of Natural Resource and Environment has submitted the auction plan for the remaining three plots with total area of 10.13ha, still waiting for approval by the PPC.

In the period of 2018-2019, it is expected to hold auctions for 18 former government offices in the province including: the Department of Culture, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Sport and Tourism, the Department of Planning and Investment, Land plots of the Commissar, the management board of the industrial zones, Police Department PV 24, Police Department PV 72, Vung Tau City Court, Police traffic office, PC45, the Religious Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front, the vacant land of Provincial Police, the land of Vietnamese Fatherland Front, Vung Tau City Theatre, the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism at 126 Vo Thi Sau.

According to the Department of Finance’s report, a number of former government offices in Vung Tau are currently being leased for businesses, trading or as a head offices of agencies and enterprises.

The Department of Natural Resource and Environment has proposed to withdraw and auction the old government offices for more effective use of the state's public property including: 5 properties in cluster 1 (Union of Friendship organizations, Labor Union, the Women Union, the Farmer Society and the Department of Transportation); 7 properties in cluster 2 (Vung Tau ship, the Provincial library, the Provincial People Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, the People Committee Ward 1, Police Ward 1, Vung Tau Commissar and market Ward 1); 6 properties in cluster 3 (Provincial political schools, the Provincial Council of Trustees, headquarters of the political party, headquarters of Party Committee of the Centrally-run Businesses’ Sector, the 1000m2 area of the Provincial Committee, part of the Provincial Committee , 1 property in cluster 4 (the land of the Provincial Military Command); 4 properties in cluster 5B (the Land of public security, Public security-Tradition room, Public security-canteen, Public security PC 65) and a number of individual land plots; 4 properties in cluster 5A (Public Safety, Public safety - petrol, the Provincial Children house and Public security of Vung Tau City).
