The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ba Ria–Vung Tau province has proposed a plan to increase the land’s prices in the province, expecting the lowest increase in coefficient of 2018’s land price adjustment
According to the report of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and by inheriting the principles and provisions of Decision No. 65/2014/QD-UBND dated December 19th 2014, Decision No. 26/2016/QD-UBND dated August 22nd 2016, and Decision 42/2017/QD-UBND dated December 20th 2017 of the provincial People’s Committee, the 2019 land price adjustment table was developed.
The land price adjustment table modifies and complements several regulations to suit the current local situation and remedy any deficiencies. For example, land price in the provincial market since July 1st 2014 has always been more than 20% higher than the maximum provincial allowance. The differences are depending on the area, commonly from 1.1 to 1.3 times of standard price (for Xuyen Moc, Chau Duc, Dat Do district), from 1.2 to 1.5 times (for Ba Ria city, Phu My town, Long Dien district), from 1.4 to 1.7 times (for Vung Tau city).
As a result, The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ba Ria–Vung Tau province has proposed a plan to increase the land’s prices in the province, expecting the lowest increase in coefficient of 2018’s land price adjustment. The proposal also puts together newly completed routes, establishing Phu My town and its wards.
For urban land and rural areas, the coefficient of adjustment of land prices is from 1.2 to 1.4 depending on the location of each locality (Vung Tau city is 1.4, Ba Ria city is 1.4, Phu My town is 1.3, towns of Long Dien, Chau Duc district is 1.3, towns of Xuyen Moc, Dat Do district is 1.25, Con Dao district is 1.2).
For agricultural land, the increase of urban and rural agricultural land price will be from 1.0 to 1.9 and from 1.2 to 1.5 times that of the price in Decision 65, respectively. The price of salt-making land, that applies to the whole province, will be raised by 1.2 times compared to prices in Decision 65.
The provincial People’s Committee has agreed with the proposal of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and at the same time, requested the Department to collect additional comments to complete the draft report and send it to the Office of Provincial People’s Committee.
