Notably, the most sought-after projects in these markets are existing ones which were built many years ago.
For the two consecutive months, Hai Phong real estate ranked first among the Northern provinces in terms of search volume. Particularly, in July 2019, traffic volume of Hai Phong real estate listings on Batdongsan.com.vn increased sharply, up 36% compared to June. In August, the port city continued to hold the first place in terms of traffic volume. However, the level of user interest only increased by 8% over the previous month, focusing on projects Vinhomes Imperia Hai Phong, Hoang Huy Pruksa Town, and Anh Dung Urban Area.
Along with Hai Phong, Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc were also the hottest hubs of the Northern real estate market in August. Compared to July, interest level in these two markets increased by 22% and 11%, respectively. The most sought-after projects were Aquabay Sky Residences (Ecopark, Hung Yen) and Flamingo Dai Lai (Vinh Phuc). Meanwhile, Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh, which have known as the "hot spots" of the Northern market in recent years, have seen almost the same number of searches without any significant changes compared to the previous month.
Notably, all the three hottest markets have seen many new projects launched recently such as The Minato Residence (Hai Phong), The City Light (Vinh Phuc), Pho Noi House (Hung Yen). Although these projects have been strongly communicated and advertised, users have still looked for existing projects that have been offered for sale for a long time.
A representative of a real estate trading floor in Cau Giay district said new projects are in the process of approaching customers, while the existing ones have been put into operation for many years, creating reputation, brand, proof of investment efficiency or quality, so they are more interested by investors and end-user buyers.
