At the meeting, Mr. Tuyen said HCMC is a big real estate market of the whole country, but the market transparency has not been paid due attention. Both people and businesses face difficulties when accessing information of property projects. Some developers even provide inaccurate information, causing damage to people.
Therefore, Mr. Tuyen said the city authorities need to develop the above-mentioned scheme to help the market develop more healthily and sustainably. As planned, the scheme will introduce real estate-related information, including planning, project’s legality, construction progress, etc. The relevant departments will be responsible for providing this information, ensuring accuracy and quick access in order to help people and businesses easily access information, minimize risks in property investment and purchase.
At the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Chau, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association, said providing information on the real estate market is very important. Therefore, the city needs to implement the scheme quickly and promptly to facilitate business activities of enterprises as well as protect home buyers’ rights.
In order to implement the above scheme, the Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ITPC) is assigned to coordinate with departments: Construction, Natural Resources & Environment, Planning & Architecture, Transport, HoREA to promote the scheme. In the process of operation, related departments are responsible for providing accurate and timely information.
