International fast-fashion brand Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) will open its first store in central Da Nang city on November 28, its eighth in Vietnam - one of the fastest growing markets in Southeast Asia.
The new store will be located in Vincom Plaza Ngo Quyen at 910A Ngo Quyen Street in Son Tra district.
“Expanding our presence around Vietnam emphasizes H&M’s customer-centric focus, and we are committed to building long-term relationships with our fans and new customers in the country,” said Mr. Fredrik Famm, Country Manager, H&M Southeast Asia. “We have been heartened by the warm reception from fans in Vietnam since opening our first store in Ho Chi Minh City back in 2017. We are thrilled to be opening our first in Da Nang - a major economic and tourism hub of Vietnam - and to be a part of the vibrant and fast-growing retail market in Vietnam. We look forward to welcoming more customers with a wide assortment of clothes and accessories at the best price and in a sustainable way.”
In celebration of the opening, customers can look forward to DJ performances, a signature staff dance in the store, and rewarding shopping treats in the new store space, which covers an area of 1,600 sq m.
Opening at 12pm, the first 500 customers will receive a gift card (valid on the day of opening and at the store only) worth VND100,000 ($4.3), a special “H&M Loves Da Nang” t-shirt, and a tote bag, while the following 500 in line will walk away with a notebook, a tote-bag, and a t-shirt. On the opening day, shoppers can also participate in a series of fun-filled lucky draws and games with shopping gift cards worth up to VND3 million ($129) up for grabs.
They can also look forward to kick-starting their year-end shopping spree with store-wide offers from November 28 to December 1. Customers can shop for their favorite holiday or everyday look at the ladies, men’s, and kidswear department with prices starting from VND150,000 ($6.5).
Since entering the country in 2017, H&M Vietnam has opened three stores in Hanoi and four in Ho Chi Minh City, posting record-breaking sales with each opening.
