Accordingly, in 2016, the provincial People's Committee allowed investors to survey, study and propose investment plans for Go Gang urban area. As expected, the project would cover a land site of over 1,500ha, including 2 components: nearly 1,400-ha urban area and about 141-ha provincial fishery center.
The project is a multi-functional complex with high-quality services including: high-class accommodation service area, high-tech training center, financial and banking center, maritime and aviation services.
Previously, investor had been selected but the project could not be implemented due to legal procedures.
Therefore, Ba Ria-Vung Tau People's Committee proposed the provincial Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and the Vung Tau City People's Committee; report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee and submit the project to the Prime Minister for approval.
