Australia’s leading media publication, Luxury Travel magazine, this month called out The Anam on Long Beach, Cam Ranh as the “Best Overseas Luxury Resort” in its 2019 Gold List awards.
Designed to recognize the best in luxury travel, the magazine’s 15th annual Gold List awards attracted 7,000 voters with 60,000 votes and announced 25 winners and almost 200 finalists.
The Anam, a 77-villa and 136-room and suite resort, bested the likes of Soneva Jani Maldives, Ayana Bali, Como Maalifushi Maldives, Four Seasons Bora Bora, Kokomo Private Island Fiji, Likuliku Lagoon Resort Fiji, One&Only Reethi Ra Maldives, Six Senses Fiji, and Sofitel Fiji, all of whom were finalists in the category.
The Anam was also a finalist in “Best Overseas Boutique Property, Villa or Lodge”.
The Anam’s founder, Pham Van Hien, said his team was thrilled that the independently-owned and operated resort had been recognized in this fashion Down Under.
“We’re so lucky to welcome so many Aussies to our beautiful part of the world on Cam Ranh Peninsula, and we’re thankful to those Aussies who voted for us for this year’s Gold List,” he said.
“We’ve worked tirelessly since our grand opening in April 2017 to promptly establish our reputation as one of Vietnam’s finest resorts, overlooking one of the country’s best beaches in Vietnam’s hottest new destination - Cam Ranh.”
The Anam overlooks 300 meters of beachfront on Vietnam’s scenic Cam Ranh Peninsula, which averages more than 300 sunny days per year. The Anam also features the all-day dining restaurant The Indochine, the Vietnamese restaurant Lang Viet, The Colonial, which specializes in European fine dining, Saigon Bar, and the Beach Club.
The 12-ha resort also has a ten-treatment room spa, a 3-D movie theater, three capacious swimming pools, a ballroom, conference rooms, a recreation and fitness center, a tennis court, a yoga room and deck, a kids club, a putting green, a gift shop and more. The Anam and its team are guided by an “Indochine Charm, Modern Luxury” approach to accommodation, blending colonial-era charm and warm-hearted Vietnamese service with modern comforts and convenience.
