As planned, the project will be carried out on a land site of more than 16,100 sqm, of which about 638 sqm for auxiliary services and functions connecting the underground space and landscape ground; and over 2,000 sqm for the parking area. The project consists of 5 basements and a technical floor, with total construction area of underground section reaching more than 72,000sqm.
The underground parking lot is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2020 and operate for 50 years.

After the project is completed, the State-run company Hanoi Zoo Park will be able to share the surface area of the land with HimLamBC Investment JSC.
According to Hanoi People's Committee, the construction of new underground parking combined with commercial services in Thu Le Park, Ngoc Khanh ward, Ba Dinh district according to modern and synchronous technology aims to better meet the increasing demand for parking lots; contributing to reducing the load for the city’s transport infrastructure system in the future.
Statistics of Hanoi Department of Transportation show there are nearly 6.5 million vehicles of all kinds in Hanoi, excluding specialized vehicles and vehicles from other provinces to Hanoi. However, the area of land used for static traffic and public parking spots only meets about 8-10 percent of demand for parking.
Currently, there are about 590 parking spots and concentrated parking lots located in the inner districts of Hanoi, with a total area of about 37.88ha. Meanwhile, the number of parking spots on streets and roadways is about 562 ones, with a total area of about 17.06 hectares.
