At the meeting, Cuban Minister of Construction Rene Antonio Mesa Villafana said Cuba now has a great demand for investment in construction and renovation of a number of cement and power plants, stone powder production, export of concrete components, waterproofing materials for building roofs, development of tourism infrastructure and so on. From now until 2021 Cuba calls for foreign investment and expects Vietnamese businesses to care and cooperate with Cuban.
According to Minister Pham Hong Ha, many corporations under the Ministry of Construction are the leading enterprises are fully capable meeting Cuban requirements to improve cement plants, producing stone powder, dry mortar, lightweight concrete components, development of tourism infrastructure, golf course construction.
In order to further promote cooperative relations between the two countries, Minister Pham Hong Ha said that he has directed units and enterprises under the Ministry of Construction to focus on studying the potentials and possibilities of cooperation with Cuban partners. At the same time, Minister Pham Hong Ha proposed that the two ministries should organize more frequent evaluation meetings as well as clearifying difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the signed cooperation contents and propose timely solutions to improve the effectiveness of cooperation between the two ministries.
