Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, former Deputy Minister of Construction, also Chairman of VNREA, vice presidents and all members of the Standing Committee.
Based on the work plan draft and task assignment scheme provided by Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Permanent Vice Chairman of VNREA and Mr. Tran Ngoc Quang, Secretary-general of the Association, the delegates had exciting discussions and went to many important decisions related to long-term goals in the entire fourth term and specific plans in 2017. Accordingly, in the near future, VNREA will focus on the following matters:
With regard to Association operation, improving the quality of the association towards members by enhancing the effectiveness of activities supporting members; expanding and deepening both domestic and international operations in order to create more opportunities for the members in the association; developing strongly the association network with local organizations and branch organizations in narrow fields by increasing the number of members improve the professionalism of the operating activities of the association; attracting most of enterprises and organizations in the real estate sector to participate in VNREA; improving the operating quality of the association department system according to criteria: professionalism, effectiveness and leaning.
Regarding research, consultancy and policy response activities: VNREA will participate in social debates actively and effectively to enhance the role of the association as an advisor for building real housing market policy system; implementing actively and positively measures to protect rights and interests of its members; also making efforts to provide petitions and opponents of policies in order to contribute to build a favorable legal framework for the transparent and sustainable development of real estate market; expanding and deepening cooperation relationship with government agencies such as Ministries, the People's Committees of provinces and cities having management activities of housing investment and business in order to coordinate to deal with proposals of members in locals; also getting cooperation from international partners to find solutions to support, promote the market development.
In early 2017, in cooperation with Ministry of Construction, the association will implement establishing market data basis project to provide statistics, information, assessments and timely and accurate forecasts of real estate market issues. Besides, VNREA will improving the quality of the monthly housing market summary report. Quarterly, the association will organize professional talk-shows, seminars and press conferences to disclose information about Vietnam real estate market. Also, playing as a host in building a pilot project on the establishment of real estate investment funds to support enterprises which are members of VNREA.
Under the aspect of events and investment promotion activities, from the beginning of 2017, VNREA will promote and professionalize the annual activities of the association such as the National Award for Real Estate; Vietnam Real Estate Fair (VNREA - EXPO); Vietnam Real Estate Forum; the property investment promotion conferences,…
Given training and international cooperation activities, the association will focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of existed real estate training and joint training programs, also, expand training cooperation with both domestic and international prestigious institutes, universities and training organizations; participate in and build actively international cooperation events and programs; and build close cooperation relationship with prestigious organizations and businesses in the international property market relating to Vietnam.
From the perspective of media activities, VNREA identified that this is a particularly important task in both propagating property glances, guidelines and policies of the Party and Government and improving the reputation and brand of the association. Accordingly, the association will focus on supporting the development of Vietnam Real Estate Online Magazine (the official organ of VNREA) to develop stronger, also, strengthen the establishment of the information channel to propagating about the association and promote cooperation, create close relationships with media agencies.
In the conclusion speech, Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam said that: “In the near future, the tasks of Standing Committee will be very important and heavy, so making the best efforts, promoting solidarity and creativity to meet orientation and tasks set out in order to contribute positively to the development of Vietnam real estate market and supporting effectively for the operation of the businesses, members,… are very essential”.
"We are entering a "golden period" because of the most of the leading real estate enterprises participation of most of the leading Vietnam real estate enterprises and positively and sustainably vigorous change of Vietnam property industry. Therefore, I believe that with unity, consensus and effort, we will fulfill the tasks set out. I’m looking forward that the Standing Committee will be nuclear contributing to the development of the association ...”, Nam said./.
