Vincom Retail unveils three new Vincom shopping centre plans

Vietnam’s Vincom Retail has announced three new Vincom Mega Mall shopping centres. Two new malls to be built in Hanoi and one in Ho Chi Minh City.

Vincom Retail has introduced three new Vincom Mega Mall shopping centers around the country, which will not only attract the attention of many investors but also contribute to the retail real estate market and catch the eye of domestic and international retail brands.

Two of the new properties will be located in Hanoi and the third in Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s commercial capital.

Vincom Mega Mall Ocean Park is located in the Vinhomes Ocean Park urban area in Hanoi, one of the largest and most exciting real estate projects in the northern region because of a series of unique utilities such as a salt lake and sea, 100 picnic spots, and six BBQ areas. With dozens of apartment blocks and thousands of villas, it promises to attract and serve up to 1.5 million regular customers and 4.5 million customers in Hanoi on the weekend for entertainment, annually.

It is also designed to be creative, modern, and different, on an area of up to 56,000 sqm, arranged based on technological elements and inspiring design ideas that promise to bring about the most impressive shopping experience. Vincom says the mall’s design was influenced by “subterranean movements” and the blue waterfront.

Also in Hanoi, located in Vinhomes Smart City, Vincom Mega Mall Smart City will feature a design concept inspired by future technology trends, inheriting a series of unique utilities such as “the leading Japanese garden in the area”, eight utility parks with 14 park categories, and a modern technology system in the smart city model. These are the key factors that help brands attract young, dynamic, modern and high-income customers - the main customers of the urban area.

The new shopping centre Vincom Mega Mall’s smart operation and modern green space is spread over an area of 68,000 sqm, bringing convenience and creativity to the stores and promising to help brands to attract a catchment of 1.8 million potential customers right after launch, with demographics primarily being millennials.

The third shopping centre, Vincom Mega Mall Grand Park, will open in District 9 of Ho Chi Minh City. The mall will occupy 48,000 sqm of commercial space, including five floors and one basement, has been assessed by experts as having the opportunity to attract up to 1.5 million customers a year.

Vincom Mega Mall Grand Park also inherits all the advantages of the Vinhomes Grand Park urban area, with a convenient location and a large source of target customers.

Commenting on the green design and smart operations of the three new Vincom Mega Mall projects, Mr. Richard Wood, Director of Concept-I, the design unit of three big department stores, said that with a desire to integrate and lead the new retail wave, Vincom aims to be a place for shopping and enjoying art and artistic design, creating a different experience when shopping.

Vincom Retail’s deputy director of sales and marketing, Tran Thu Hien, said there are four key elements the company believes will secure Vincom Mega Mall’s success are appropriate product structure; abundant customer base; tenants’ companionship and professional operations; and the ability to organize inspirational marketing events. “With these, we believe Vincom’s Mega Mall is the leading product line and attracts customers to the experience,” she added.
