The winners were announced by the Vietnam Architects’ Association in Hanoi on April 10.
The prizes include one gold, 11 silver, 22 bronze medals, and one prize for the most favoured design.
“Bac Hong house” by architect Pham Quoc Dat, was awarded the gold medal in the rural house category.
The winners have been drawn from a diverse range, covering a variety of genres and reflecting modernisation in the context of globalisation.
Hosted by the Vietnam Architects’ Association every two years, he National Architecture Award is widely considered the most prestigious architectural award in Vietnam.
