After the demolishment, the land site will be handed over to Binh Duong’s Department of Science and Technology to implement the project of Binh Duong Center for Community Initiatives and Support.
In mid 2018, offices of state agencies such as the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Thu Dau Mot People's Committee, which are located on Binh Duong Avenue, Hiep Thanh Ward, have also been demolished by working team under the Binh Duong’s Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
Most of these land sites are considered to be in favorable positions that many investors dream about. The purpose of Binh Duong province when abolishing the above headquarters is to create a clean land fund, to conduct an auction for investors wishing to deploy new construction works.
The central Administrative Center of Binh Duong province was completed and put into use 5 years ago. At that time, all public administrative units such as the provincial Party Committee, provincial People's Committee, and departments were gathered there. Their former headquarters have been auctioned by the province and some offices have had new owners, while others are being used temporarily by other units.
