The real estate market in Vietnam has strongly revived and well contributed to the development of national economics and society. With the advantage of good macroeconomics and policies, there are fine opportunities for the real estate. However, risky signs has recently appeared, that could have bad impacts on purchasers, investors, business and banks, even the national macroeconomics.
Opening the discussion, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Vice President of Vietnam National Real Estate Association and President of Vietnam Association of Realtors, forecasts the market of 2019. In his opinion, the next year market would make good use of rich supply, focus on big projects and microcities with full services and synchronous infrastructure such as Vingroup's ones. This would be the leading trend of the market. Small projects in other areas would find hard to compete with big and synchronous ones which are essential trends of urban tidying up.
"Thanks to good supply, we estimate that there would not be sudden changes of the real estate price in 2019, and the market would be stable.", Mr. Ha said. "The structure of goods would suit the ability of the market, especially the payment of citizen. In 2019, the segment of industrial estate would exceptionally develop. This is a new wave in Vietnam, therefore the development of industrial zones would have to be more synchronous to attract foreign investment, while investors have to pay their attention to commercial houses to meet the requirement those zones. This would be one of market's segments which reserve lots of geographic development, as we evaluate."
